Banner Ad

The premium Leaderboard position is available at the top of Hearing Life e-News with another banner ad opportunity offered at the mid-page position.  The dimensions are 600x80 for either banner ad.

Ad Rate: $2,000 for the Leaderboard/$1,500 for mid-page position 

Text Ad/URL

Please provide a heading plus a maximum of 60 words.  Include the URL to the website you would like readers to be directed to for more information.  There are up to 4 Text Ads per e-News.

Logo/URL

Please provide a color logo in JPG, GIF or PNG format. Logos can be any size; we will scale to fit space. Include the URL to the website you would like readers to be directed to and 40 characters or fewer of text.

Consumers look to it as a trusted source of the latest news and information on technology, financial assistance resources, public policy, advocacy, hot topics, industry news, research, hearing loss basics, statistics, links to related organizations and more. Ad rates begin at $500.

Ad Materials 

Ad artwork should be in JPG, GIF or PNG format. The pixel dimensions should be 300w x 250h. Please also provide the URL you would like visitors to be directed to.

Ads submitted are used for the duration of your contract. However, you can submit a new or revised ad for any issue.

All web banner advertisements are contracted for one full-year, 12-month cycle. Advertisements are banner style (either rotating or static; webmaster’s option) and should not be animated GIFs.

Sponsored HTML Email

Let HLAA send an email blast to our membership of 30,000 as sponsored content. New products and services that you want the industry to know about right now can be sent in an email. 

Materials Requirements
  • Fully designed, ready-to-send email in an HTML file. (use a testing service such as litmus to confirm html validation and deliverability of code)
  • All images and fonts need to be linked to the appropriate files hosted on your servers (no local files)
  • All hyperlinks need to be embedded
  • Subject line for the email
General Requirements
  • All content is subject to review by HLAA
  • Necessary alternations are the responsibility of and at the expense of the advertiser
  • Ask your Account Executive for submission process and deadlines

Targeted Facebook Advertising 

Advertise directly to HLAA’s audience on Facebook for one month (or more) and yield an estimated 50K-70K impressions (per one month period) for your brand, product or service. Your ads will begin to appear in their newsfeeds and on the sidebar for consumers with hearing loss looking for products, services and education to make sure they are well informed.

Materials Requirements

Feed ad image dimensions and guidelines

  • Recommended image size: 1200 x 628 pixels
  • Minimum width and height: 600 pixels
  • Recommended aspect ratio is between 9:16 to 16:9, but crops to 1.91:1 with a link
  • Recommended image formats are JPG and PNG
  • Images with 20% text or more could increase chances of failed delivery

  • Text: 125 characters
  • Headline: 25 characters
  • Link description: 30 characters
